NEW YORK A Gallup report released today reveals that more than half of all Americans, rejecting evolution theory and scientific evidence, agree with the statement, 'God created man exactly how Bible describes it.'
Another 31% says that man did evolve, but 'God guided.' Only 12% back evolution and say 'God had no part.'
Gallup summarized it this way: 'Surveys repeatedly show that a substantial portion of Americans do not believe that the theory of evolution best explains where life came from.' They are 'not so quick to agree with the preponderance of scientific evidence.' "

Although I believe that this is proof positive that more than half of usamericans are brain dead IDIOTS!!!, it could be argued that there is no such thing as evolution and these bone heads are proof. Hmm...

Most Americans are idiots. This allows them to believe they make informed judgements. In turn they are eager to make their voices heard. As if they had something to say. They are a bunch of pathetic fools. Voicing their opinions without any facts and no attempt to reason out any meaning from any facts they may have stumbles upon.
There is exactly zero evidence of a god that cares about man. The only thing that god (genetic mistakes) gave us is the ability to gather knowledge and the power of reason to make our survival easier and happier.
Religion is the worlds most insidious problem! How people can believe in books written about god by people who were no more civilized and rational than the people existing in Iraq or Afghanistan? Most likely they were even more shit for brains then.

I too have issues with religion, at times I spit on it and wonder if we all wouldn't be better off without it. At others I find myself my self in awe of a sense of spirit that I cannot begin to put into words. To paraphrase Kurt Vonnegut, I believe that there is something going on out there but I haven't heard a good explanation of what it is.
