The Toddler King’s Insufferable Reign is Doomed

The Toddler King’s Insufferable Reign is Doomed:

"7. We slaughtered over two million Vietnamese in an attempt to keep the world safe for capitalism and are poised to consider putting one of the perpetrators in the White House."

Wanda’s arguments are generally correct, but she leaves out the fact that women are psychopaths as well as men, just in lesser numbers. Golda Mier? Margaret Thatcher? Eva Peron? Er, ahem, Hillary Clinton? Margaret Sanger? Further, women tend to engage
in non-violent psychopathy, having turned it almost into an art form. Regardless, the violent-prone like Gacy makes the papers, while the female conniver at the office or in politics who destroys her co-workers as she rises to the top is rarely, if ever, mentioned.

The better argument is that “civilization” as we know it is the result of the struggle between psychopaths and otherwise “normal” people. Unfortunately, in both business and government, it is the psychopaths who rise to power, regardless of sex.

The “Court History” of the U.S. is littered with psychopaths as both Presidents and “Captains of Industry”, and we are taught that they are heroes. The General who is the greatest butcher, the President who maneuvered us into war, the C.E.O. who built “THE CORPORATION” through destroying unions and competition - this we are taught to idealize, a role model.

What of the leader of fought for ongoing peace and prosperity? He is little but an afterthought, with little comment except what number he was on our grand list of leaders. It is the Butcher who we adore, who we genuflect to. The “Great Leader”, so we’ve been told. “The Good War.”

Read Loboweski’s “Political Ponerology” and Dr. Martha Stouts “The Paranoia Switch” and “The Sociopath Next Door”, as well as the works of Dr. Hare. Read Naomi Klein’s “The Shock Doctrine”. “They” control everything.

Poll: McCain Only Ten Points Ahead In Home State - Politics on The Huffington Post

Poll: McCain Only Ten Points Ahead In Home State - Politics on The Huffington Post:

"A statewide Cronkite/Eight poll finds that only 38 percent of Arizona voters would vote for McCain. 28 percent said they would vote for Obama, and 34 percent were undecided. Choosing Hillary Clinton as his vice-presidential running mate could cost Barack Obama about 5 percentage points in the state, according to the poll."

Joe Bageant: Old Dogs and Hard Time

Joe Bageant: Old Dogs and Hard Time: "Governments and states exist to control people, and for no other reason. If justice is achieved somewhere in the process, it's an added bonus. But control above all else is necessary for modern civilization to exist. Population grows by the minute, increasing social pressure on humanity. More rules and more control are required to keep order. Order is defined as the way we think others should behave -- or imagine them to misbehave. We support the state's police machinery and massive incarceration of our fellow citizens, so long as they are being imprisoned for the right reasons. They should pay. Every action in a capitalist world must produce money. So they should pay in cash."

AxisofLogic/ Palestine

AxisofLogic/ Palestine: "Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has said Israel holds at least 150 nuclear weapons, the first time a U.S. president has publicly acknowledged Israel's atomic arsenal.

Asked at a news conference at Wales's Hay literary festival on Sunday how a future U.S. president should deal with the Iranian nuclear threat, Carter put the risk in context by listing atomic weapons held globally.

'The U.S. has more more than 12,000 nuclear weapons, the Soviet Union (Russia) has about the same, Great Britain and France have several hundred, and Israel has 150 or more. We have a phalanx of enormous weaponry ... not only of enormous weaponry but of rockets to deliver those missiles on a pinpoint accuracy target,' he said, according to a transcript of his remarks."

Joe Bageant: In a rut with consumerism and capitalism

Joe Bageant: In a rut with consumerism and capitalism: "Yet, whether actors or audience, all participants from top to bottom are patsies: the ward's doctors, the orderlies, the media calling the fight, the guy who mops the floor and the guy who banks the profits. All have internalized the corporate/state process so thoroughly they do not even know they are conditioned creatures of the larger machine they have created. Everybody is a patsy for the new corporate global social order of information and commodities -- the well-coiffed talking head on the TV screen, the grotesque delusional audience, and the candidates themselves. All play out their parts as good guys or bad guys or attractive meat puppets in a holographic projection of the hallucination itself called the news, which is presented as a description of reality, thereby reinforcing the hallucination itself."
