Oh my God. I can't believe it. I agree with you on this. Maybe I would have used a little different language, but I am very much opposed to a national ID card.
I have a feeling that there are many things we agree on, but as you have so astutely observed we speak a little different language. ;)
The guy behind that law, Sensenbrenner is also trying to get a law passed that will make it a crime not to snitch on people violating drug laws. Go and read my most excellent post on this subject and my call for legalization. Of course it is written in a different, I mean better, language.
