No Longer a Christian

No Longer a Christian:

"The words they speak are words of destruction, aggression, dominance, revenge, fear
and arrogance. The host and the callers echo the belief in the righteousness of
our nation's killing. There are reminders to pray for our "Christian" president
who is doing the work of the Lord: Right to Life, Second Amendment, sanctity
of marriage, welfare reform, war, kill, evil liberals. . . so much to fight, so
much to destroy."

I don't think it's right that people that actually follow the words Christ should have to stop calling themselves Christian. Instead I think it is time that Christians and non Christians alike call the fundamentalist right what they really are. TERRORISTS! They seek to destroy those things that we hold dear in this country, compassion, equality, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The fundamentalist right is every bit as dangerous and reprehensible as the most violent whabiist
imam in saudi arabia. They are truly the american taliban.

The religious right of 21st Century America is anti-American, inherently violent, and a cruel, tyrannical, punitive, force of death and destruction. In its mindset, adult human lives do not matter because the human condition itself is inherently evil resulting in eternal and everlasting punishment in hell unless its members are redeemed in a prescribed manner by the fundamentalist God/man/savior, Jesus Christ.

An excellent find, and just in time! In true anarchist fashion, I took it to use in a discussion going on over here. Er, oops... forgot to give you credit, though. Sorry 8^)
